The 2 euro coin issued by Andorra in 2020 is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of women's suffrage in the country. This anniversary was an important event, as in 1970, women in Andorra were first given the right to vote and be elected.
The obverse of the coin depicts a woman's face, from which spiral lines extend, symbolizing women's names, which emphasizes the solidarity of women in the fight for their rights. Around the image is the inscription: "50 ANYS DEL SUFRAGI UNIVERSAL FEMENÍ", which translates as "50 years of universal women's suffrage". At the bottom of the coin is the name of the country Andorra and the year of issue 2020. The outer ring of the coin is decorated with the 12 stars of the flag of the European Union
The coin is presented in a luxurious numbered plastic blister.
