The 2 euro coin issued by Andorra in 2020 is dedicated to the XXVII Ibero-American Summit. This summit, which has been held annually since 1991, brings together the heads of state and government of the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries of Europe and America. The first summit was held in Mexico, and Andorra became a member in 2004.
The obverse of the coin depicts an abstract tree made up of human silhouettes and gears. These elements symbolize the integration of society and the synergy of the ideas of the summit participants. Along the edge of the disc is the inscription "XXVII CIMERA IBEROAMERICANA ANDORRA 2020", and around the rim are the 12 stars of the flag of the European Union.
The coin is presented in a luxurious numbered plastic blister.
