Netherlands Euro Set BU 2000 - The Netherlands used a design by Bruno Nienaber van Eijben for coins featuring Queen Beatrix from 1999 to 2013. The design has become the symbol of the Dutch euro, and the Queen's profile appears on coins of various denominations.
- The obverse of the coins features the profile of Queen Beatrix surrounded by 12 stars. Along the edge of the coin is the inscription "BEATRIX KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN", which translates as "Queen of the Netherlands"
- On the edge of the 2 euro coin is written "GOD * ZIJ * MET * ONS", which means "God is with us.
- Coins of different denominations: On the coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, Queen Beatrix is also depicted with a similar inscription.
