The Malta Euro BU set 2019 is dedicated to the megalithic temple complex Ta Hagrat Temples. This set includes all denominations of Malta euro coins from 1 cent to 2 euros in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality.
Ta Hagrat Temples is one of the most significant prehistoric temples in Malta, dating back to around 3600-3200 BC. The complex is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an important archaeological site. These temples are considered to be among the best examples of megalithic architecture.
