The Malta Euro Set BU 2017 is dedicated to the megalithic temple complex of Hagar Qim (Ħaġar Qim). This set includes all denominations of Malta euro coins from 1 cent to 2 euros in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality.
Hagar Qim is one of the most significant prehistoric temples in Malta, dating back to around 3600-3200 BC. The complex is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an important archaeological site. These temples are considered to be among the best examples of megalithic architecture.
