The Easter bunny in the center of the coin is the main element of the design. Designed around 1930 by Michael Powolny, this rabbit symbolizes Easter and the arrival of spring. Around the rabbit, you can see the Augarten vase decoration, as well as the Maria Theresa ornament, which is connected to the history of Austrian porcelain. This adds historical value and links to the tradition of porcelain production in Austria. The reverse side of the coin depicts the coats of arms of the nine federal states of Austria. In the center is the number 5, which indicates the denomination of the coin. The outer circle of the coin is surrounded by the inscription "Republik Österreich" (Republic of Austria) and the word "EURO".
