Andorra issued a special €2 coin in 2023 to celebrate 30 years of membership in the United Nations (UN). This event highlights the importance of international cooperation and the role of the UN in global issues such as human rights, climate change and security.
The obverse of the coin features the number 30, which symbolizes the anniversary, and the letter O represents the Earth divided into parts. The coin also features the coat of arms of Andorra and the text in Spanish: ANDORRA MEMBRE NACIONS UNIDES, which translates as "Andorra is a member of the United Nations". The year of issue is 2023.
